The Craft
Blue pottery is not clay pottery. It is made from a unique quartz paste — a technique that travelled to Jaipur from Persia centuries ago and found its permanent home here. The distinctive white base, the cobalt rim, the jewel-like colours — all are hallmarks of genuine Jaipur blue pottery that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world. Each piece is unique — slight variations in pattern and colour are a feature, not a flaw.
